On completion day both parties will appear before the Notary, who is responsible for the implementation of public documents and ensures you comply with Spanish law. At this time the outstanding balance of money will be paid and any remaining purchase fees and tax will be settled. You will then have the keys for your new home and a copy of the title deed until the official deed comes to you from the land registry.
